1,034,406. Pipe couplings. UNIDARE Ltd., N. S. MANAHAN and T. J. McHUGH. May 6, 1965 [May 27, 1964], No. 21861/64. Heading F2G. A pipe coupling comprises a sleeve 1 which is provided integrally with a boss 6 having a depression 7 at its centre. The depression 7 is used as a locating mark for a boring tool when it is desired to bore the sleeve 1 for attachment to a branch pipe or the like. The sleeve is also provided internally with annular grooves 2 to house sealing rings 3 and integral abutment rings 5 to limit the distance a pipe can travel into the sleeve.
