Class 79(1) An implement control mechanism comprises linkage connected to an implement 'and raised or lowered by a hydraulic ram 7 on a tractor, the admission of fluid to the cylinder 6 of the ram being controlled by a valve 11 which is operated by a control linkage consisting of a first lever 20 having a pivot 20A operatively connected with and movable by the implement linkage and a pivotal association through an eccentric 21 with a manual controller 12, a second lever 24 pivoted on the tractor and having a connection with the valve 11 and incorporating a long arm 23, an intermediate link 28 interconnecting the two levers and a striker 30 fixed in the connecting rod 8 of the ram 7 so as to move therewith, the arrangement being such that movement of the manual controller 12 is transmitted through the first lever 20, link 28 and lever 24 to the valve 11 and the resulting movement of the striker 30 moves the long arm 23 of the lever 24 to return the valve to a neutral position in which fluid is topped in the cylinder so that the linkage is maintained stationary. The link 28 is provided with a roller 29 which slides in a slot 26 in the arm 23 and the link 28 is angularly adjustable about a pivot 31 by means of a link 37 and hand operated lever 33 to vary the effective leverage of the second lever. The upper link of the implement linkage which is movable if the implement is subjected to excessive draft is connected to a slide rod 16 which moves against a spring 14 and is connected to a thrust link 19 one end of which forms the pivot 20A of the lever 20.
