780,919. Cycle windscreens. WINTER, P. M., [trading as WINTER, P. M. [Firm of]. Jan. 5, 1956 [Jan. 5, 1955], No. 455/56. Class 136(1) In a cycle windscreen with an upper part 2 provided above a sight aperture 2a and inclined rearwardly in the direction of travel, the part 2 extending at an acute angle in relation to a lower part 1 provided below the aperture, an arcuate metal frame 3 is provided for the upper and lower parts of the screen, the lower edge of the upper part 2 being arched and projecting forwardly in the direction of travel beyond the upper edge of the lower part. The two parts 1, 2 of the screen are attached to the frame member 3 by means of a border 4 of leather or synthetic material. The two free edges of the border 4 embrace the external edges of the two panes, 1, 2 and are secured to each other through the screen material. The lower pane 1 has two upwardly projecting lugs la which reach to the lower edge of the upper pane 2. Alternatively lugs similar to the lugs 1a may be provided on the upper pane 2.
