Abstract

[Also in Groups XIX, XXXIX and XL (c)] In a circuit for connecting an input A to one of a number of outlets B . . . E, the transistors XG1 ... XG4 are operated in turn by negative potentials applied to their bases from a transistor counter XA1 ... XA4. A train of pulses is applied over terminal CL to transfer the conducting state of rest transistor XR round the ring to XA3, for example (see Group XL (c)). The fall in emitter potential lowers the base potential of XG3 to provide a conducting path between its two emitters so that a signal may pass between terminals A and D. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 742,134, [Group XL (c)].
