Abstract

777,644. Tanks. NOTANDER, O. R., and NYDAHL, T. O. April 20, 1955 [April 20, 1954], No. 11378/55. Class 69 (1). A container 1 of flexible liquid-proof material such as plastic or rubber has an inlet and outlet opening 7 with a conduit 8, normally closed by a valve 9, adapted to reach up above the surface of a body of water and is kept submerged by mooring wires 10 fastened to a point at the bottom of the body of water or a weight on the bottom. An outer and stronger envelope 2 surrounds the inner container 1 and has open seams to allow water to pass through it and expel the liquid contents by compression of the container 1. A ring 3 at the top of the container has radial spokes 4 providing attachment means for the wires 10, and a hub with pipe socket 5 for the conduit 8.
