The centre post of a record changer has an offset portion forming a step 4 on which records are supported before being released on to the turntable, and a reciprocating member 12 with cam surfaces 28, 29 operates to raise a floating ejector member 14 firstly to an intermediate position, Fig. 3, in which the upper end 18 of the ejector member extends into the hole in the record, and then to a final position in which the ejector member is moved laterally to unseat a record from the step 4.
