Abstract

Classts 100(1) and 100(4) A pin type strip feeding device has a plurality of peripherally arranged pins that, may be simultaneously extended from or retracted into a cylindrical body. As shown, a cylindrical body 11 is secured by a set screw 18 to a key 15 fitted to a shaft. Pins 23 project through radial slots 22 merging with radial holes 21. A plate 26 carries arcuate ribs 29 received in grooves 24, 25 of the pins, such that relative rotation of the plate 26 and body 11 effects radial adjustment of the pins 23. The plate 26 may be locked in either of two circumferential positions, such that the pins are fully retracted or projected by a spring arm 33 secured to the key 15, the spring arm engaging one of two spaced apart notches 31 or 32.
