907,923. Cams. INSTITUTE OF TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY. Dec. 28, 1960 [June 1, 1960], No. 44442/60. Class 80 (3). [Also in Group IX] A cam in a textile machine has means for changing the position of its geometric centre with respect to its rotational centre. A slide 37, Fig. 3, is bolted at 38 to a boss 36 keyed to the shaft 28 with which the cam rotates; the cam has a flange 42 carrying a threaded member 45 on a screw 43 fitted with a knob 44 and secured in a second flange 41 on slide 37. When knob 44 is rotated, the cam is moved relatively to the slide and shaft 28, the cam having a recess 35 and studs 40 extending into slots 39 in the slide. A graduated scale 46 on the cam and position marks on knob 44 co-operating with a pointer 48 on flange 42 are provided.
