727,006. Typewriters &c. STANDARD REGISTER CO. Aug. 24, 1953, No. 23344/53. Class 100 (4). A pin type strip feeding device has a pin carrying member in which the pins are pivoted so that they can be moved simultaneously into and out of the operative position. Pins 7, Fig. 2, are pivotally mounted by pivot pins 6 in a body 1 adjustably secured to a shaft 2. Lugs 9 of a collar 8 engage between the pins 7 to project or withdraw them by pivoting them about the pins 6, the collar being lockable in either position by a draw-nut 10. In a modified construction, Fig. 9, a guide collar 17 fixed to a mounting hub 15 has guide slots 18 in which studs 20 of pins 19 engage while other studs 21 of the pins pivotally engage an adjusting collar 22. The collar 22 has pairs of recesses engaged by spring-biased plungers of a lock collar 25 so that by movement from one position to the other the bases of the pins 19 are moved, causing the studs 20 to slide and pivot in the guide slots 18 to project or withdraw the pins from the periphery of the collar 17.
