Abstract

Devices for coupling a mattress-frame to the bed ends are made of thermoplastic material as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, catch plates 1 made of plastic material are let into the end of the mattress frame 14 and have recesses 2 receiving correspondingly-shaped locking members 6 formed on the end of plastic shanks 4 glued into holes in the bed end 15. As shown in Figs. 4, 6 and 8, catch plate 10 is let into the mattress-frame and has recesses 11 receiving the end 13 of hooks 12, the noses of which are received in recesses 7 in a catch plate 9 let into the bed end. As shown in Fig. 9, catch plates 16, 22 are let into the mattress frame and bed end respectively and have downwardly and upwardly projecting tapered parts 19 receiving coupling elements 20 shaped as shown in Fig. 13.
