A stripper device for a hand-press comprises a back-plate 1 adapted to be secured to the frame of the press, arms 5 pivotally mounted on the back-plate 1 and vertically adjustable rods 7 carried by the arms 5 and supporting stripper plates 8. The rods 7 are secured in brackets 11 radially adjustable in slots in the arms 5. Set-screws 20 in the rods 7 engage the ram guides C when the device is in the working position. The plates 8 are formed with recesses of different sizes or shapes for use with different punches. Specification 602,630 is referred to.
