769,815. Automatic voltage control systems. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd: May 13, 1955; No. 13896/55. Addition to 708,169. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (4). The series valve stabilizer disclosed in the parent Specification, which can be switched from one stabilized output voltage to a second stabilized output voltage by means of a keying valve, is modified by the addition of a valve across the output terminals which is normally biased to cut-off but is rendered conducting by the keying valve when the output voltage is switched from the higher to the lower valve. This discharges capacitors said to occur in the load circuit.
