Abstract

769,363. Agricultural implements. FORCE, S. March 14, 1955 [March 20, 1954], No. 7420/55. Class 6(1). The bolts 5 for connecting a plough share 2 and mouldboard 3 to a plough beam 4 are provided with a central conduit 8 connected to a water container for supplying water to the mouldboard to facilitate the action of the plough in heavy soils. As shown the bolt 5 is provided with a nut 7 to which is fixed a hollow connector 9 which is connected to a flexible hose 10. In a modification the connecter 9 is formed with a tapped hole for the reception of a short pipe which is connected to the hose 10. A small cavity shaped as a sector of a circle is formed in the head of the bolt 5 to prevent earth blocking the conduit 8.
