769,149. Key holders. FABRIQUE D'HORLOGERIE DE ST. BLAISE SOC. ANON. May 9, 1955, No. 13366/55. Class 44. [Also in Group XVIII] In a combined watch and key, the watch 2, Fig. 1, is connected to the key 20 by a universal joint. The watch movement 1, Fig. 3, is within a casing comprising a glass and a combined caseband and bezel 2 in which a back 3 is held by a ring 7 screwed into the caseband 1. The back is correctly located by a pin 4 which projects from the back and engages one of several holes 6 in the caseband 1. An annular member 12, Fig. 4, fixed to the back 3, for example, by rivets 13, is raised at its ends 14 to form with a cavity 11 in the back 3 a seat for a spherical member 15 integral with a member 16 to which a key 20 is fixed by a screw 22 and a washer 23. The friction in the universal joint 11, 14, 15 allows any desired orientation of the watch with respect to the key. A packing may be placed between the flange 9 of the back and the shoulder 10 of the caseband 1. A member 17 is snap-fitted within the ring 7 to cover the member 12.
