768,763. Cartons. UNILEVER, Ltd. April 12,1955 [April 17, 1954], No. 10440/55. Class 18. A carton has two convex sides each bounded on a pair of opposite edges by straight lines parallel to their axes of curvature and two concave .sides, the axes of curvature of which are normal to the straight lines. In one embodiment, Figs. 1, 2, a blank is folded and secured in tubular form and double convex end flaps 8, 8<SP>1</SP>, 11, 11<SP>1</SP>, turned in after bowing the walls 2, 3. The flaps are self-locking. In another embodiment, Fig. 3 (not shown) walls such as 2, 3 have their straight edges in line in the blank and are separated by a double convex portion forming a carton end. Both straight edges of one wall have laps for securing to corresponding edges of the other. In another embodiment, a sleeve 30 formed from a blank as in Fig. 1 but with the end flaps omitted, encloses a drawer having concave ends 42, 42<SP>1</SP> and tuck-in flaps 44, 44<SP>1</SP>.
