767,954. Electrically heated fabrics. RICHARDSON & SHEERES, Ltd. and THERMEGA, Ltd. Aug. 5, 1954 [Sept. 23, 1953], No. 26215/53. Class 142 (4). [Also in Group XI] A two-ply wool fabric forming a blanket, bedwarmer or pad is so woven that the plies are connected on their inner faces by weft threads 2 which are spaced apart to form tunnels 3 receiving a heating resistance wire 4, and the plies are slightly felted on their inner faces by milling to hold the wire in place. The wire passes in parallel loops to an external lead 5, and some of the passages 3a are left vacant. The cloth may be finished by greasy raising, scouring, carbonizing, dyeing and dry raising.
