Abstract

Camouflaged concrete structures are produced by mixing one or more different inorganic colour pigments of metal oxides, hydroxides or oxyhydrates with the cement and aggregate before setting, forming the differently coloured cements into a desired pattern and allowing to set. 1 to 20 per cent of pigment may be added, and specified pigments are chromium oxide green, ultramarine blue and yellow, signal red blend, and iron oxide red and yellow. Organic pigments can also be present.
