Abstract

The process of the parent Specification is modified by colouring the polythene prior to precipitation. Suitable pigments are iron and chromium oxides. All or part of the polythene may be coloured before dissolving it, e.g. by incorporating pigment on a mill or in a heated mixer, or the colouring matter may be added to the solvent or solution.
