767,166. Motor scooters. TRIUMPHE WERKE NUERNBERG AKT.-GES. Feb. 15, 1955 [Feb. 18, 1954], No. 4419/55. Class 79(3). [Also in Group XXIX] In a motor scooter having a protection shield and a fuel tank at the front and having an open space constituting leg room between the shield and the driving seat, the tank is formed with a recess 5 to accommodate the scooter batteries 6. As shown the fuel tank comprises parts 1, 2 arranged laterally of the steering column 3 and frame 4 of the scooter. The batteries are mounted on brackets 7 with the interposition of rubber pads 7a, tightening straps or clamping members 9 of rubber being also provided and the recess being closed by a plate 8.
