Abstract
766,466. Injectors. BRITISH BOILER ACCESSORIES, Ltd. June 28, 1954 [June 27, 1953], No. 18877/54. Class 71. [Also in Group XIII] In a mixing device for steam and water, steam entering at socket 17 passes to an annular jet 12 while water flows through an inlet nozzle 1 and is induced to flow around the housing 11 by outflow from the mixing nozzle 14. The external and internal flow surfaces are of continuous smooth shape. A number of devices comprising housings 11 may be secured by the sockets 17 to a steam pipe, or in series within a boiler. Lead-in tubes 10 may be fitted.
