765,170. Ammunition projectiles. AKTIEBOLAGET BOFORS. Feb. 14, 1955 [March 22, 1954], No. 7481/56. Divided out of 765,169. Class 9 (1). A cartridge case for projectiles having a stabilizing tail has cylindrical external and internal surfaces at the forward end which is provided with slots 6 through which the fins 3 contact the gun bore. The slotted portion may be a separate member releasably or non- releasably secured to the body of the case. A slotted sleeve may be fitted within the forward end of the case.
