In an excavator there is provided a link 4 which is pivoted at one end to a boom 1 and engages and swings by the other end a linkage 7, 8, 9 and 10 that co-acts with a clutch lever 11 of the clutch of a boom-raising means to declutch said clutch when the boom passes a predetermined raised position.
