Class 97(1) The system of the parent Specification is modified in that the frontal focusing lens 1, condenser 2, slide carrier 3 and objective 4 are all duplicated and may be associated with the illuminating system alternatively by a mirror 12 pivoted to move between the positions shown in solid and dotted lines and co-operating with fixed mirrors 13, 14. The two lenses 1 may be replaced by a single lens at the rear of the mirror 12.
