763,897. Converting. LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNGS-GES. Jan. 7, 1955 [Jan. 11, 1954], No. 557/55. Class 38 (2). A mechanical inverter 1 which may be of the rotating jet type, supplied from battery 2 and having an A.C. output supplied to a load through a voltage stabilizer 4, is driven by a motor 5 which is energized from the battery 2 at starting, and then from the inverter output rectified at 9 when this voltage exceeds the voltage supplied from the battery. This latter voltage may be set by variable resistance 7 and rectifier 8 prevents flow of current to the battery from the inverter output. The inverter may alternatively be a vibrator with driving coils.
