760,718. Electric motors. BERESFORD & SON, Ltd., J. Feb. 23, 1955 [Dec. 10, 1953], No. 34365/533. Class 35. In a submersible motor, plastic material is bonded to a metal stator bore liner and encases the stator core rendering a separate metallic core unnecessary. End rings 14 and a metal liner 11 are arranged in the mould so that they become embedded in or bonded to the plastic which also forms the casing 15 and is bonded to the cables 18. Alternatively the cables may be connected to a fluid tight plug and socket coupling, one member whereof can be embedded in the plastic at the position occupied by the upper end cover 14. Specification 702,499 is referred to.
