A saddle pump arrangement for bicycles or motor cycles includes a pump piston 109 arranged inside a tubular saddle support member 102 fitted adjustably and arrestably into a seat support tube 103 of the frame of the bicycle, an air discharge nipple 112 being arranged near the lower end of the seat support tube, the saddle support member 102 having a base member 111 on its lower end whereby a compression chamber is formed, a flexible hose 114 accommodated in the seat support tube, being arranged between the base member and the air discharge nipple. The hose 114 may be in the form of a coiled-up pliable metal pipe.
