Class 80(1) [Also in Group XXX] A driving belt is formed of overlapping lengths of two plies A, A of woven fabric wholly or largely of a spun synthetic polyamide such as nylon bonded together by an intermediate strip B of a synthetic polyamide having a materially lower melting point. The strip B preferably extends over one non-overlapping portion of a ply A. so that the other non-overlapping portion can be joined thereto by the application of heat and pressure to form an endless belt with the joins of each ply substantially spaced as in Fig. 2. Specification 682,867 is referred to.
