753,901. Endless conveyers. GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE STERKRADE AKT.-GES., [formerly GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE OBERHAUSEN AKT.-GES.]. April 12, 1954 [July 20, 1953], No. 10658/54. Class 78 (1). In an endless conveyer of the kind comprising sheet metal trough members connected at each side to an endless chain having plate links, some of the trough members being provided with a pair of rollers for supporting the articulated trough on running tracks, and the chain links associated with each of these latter trough members being connected to one another by a member extending transversely across the trough member and welded to these chain links, each of these links is provided with at least one extension which is offset from the link so as to lie in the longitudinal direction of the transverse member and is welded to the side of this member. As shown in Fig. 3, the inner link plate 1 of the chain 2 has two extensions 5 between which engages the web of the T-section transverse member 6, the extensions being welded to the member 6 by a weld seam 9. The flange 7 of the member 6 supports the trough member 8. A bush 3 on the link plate 1 receives the journal pin of a supporting roller.
