[Also in Group XXV] A support for a domestic wringer comprises a bar to which the wringer is detachably clamped and which has secured to one end an element of V- or truncated V-shape for engagement with a complementarily shaped element fixed in or to a wall. As shown, a metal plate 2, welded to a C section metal bar 1 having a wooden filler 3, is slidably received between flanges 6 on a metal socket 4. In modifications the plate extends beyond the flanges which are welded to it, an inclined strut, fixed or pivoted to the underside of the bar, has a tapered metal plate engaging a similar socket also secured to the wall, the socket is set back into the wall, or the flanges are provided on the end of the bar and engage a plate mounted on the wall.
