803,294. Ironing boards. ANDREWS HOUSEWARE MANUFACTURERS, Ltd Nov. 5, 1956 [Feb. 24, 1956], No. 5788/56. Class 138 (2). Means for detachably securing a sleeve board 1 to an ironing board B comprises a substantially U-shaped member rigidly secured to the sleeve board and adapted to be fitted on to the edge of the ironing board with one limb 3 on the upper surface and the other limb 2 against the under surface of the ironing board. The sleeve board 1 is secured e.g. by screws or clips to one or more curved members 4 which are secured to the limb 3 e.g. by welding. The U-shaped member and curved members 4 may be of tubular metal. Specification 779,203, [Group XIV], is referred to.
