835,191. Clamps. BELLING & LEE Ltd. Aug. 1, 1958, No. 24814/58. Class 44 A device for securing an article to a support is in the form of a stirrup clamp formed in one piece from sheet metal and has two opposed sides 1, 2 sloping towards one another, the clamp being so formed and at least one of its sloping sides being so apertured that when the clamp embraces the article and is secured to the support, a part of the peripheral wall of the article projects through the aperture and a part of the clamp between the sloping sides bears on a part of the peripheral wall of the article. As shown, the device is used to secure a ferrite-cored transformer 14 to a chassis plates 17.
