753,551. Colour television tubes. PHILCO CORPORATION. Aug. 1, 1952 [Sept. 14, 1951], No. 14038/54. Divided out of 753,452. Drawings to Specification. Class 39 (1). In the screen described in Specification 753,452, in which indexing material such as magnesium oxide tungsten or gold is incorporated in some of the fluorescent strips, it is incorporated only in the strips of greatest light emission efficiency, usually the green strips, in such proportion as to improve the colour balance. The indexing material may be a mixture of a plurality of substances, and may be uniformly or non-uniformly distributed throughout the volume of each strip. Specification 753,442 is referred to.
