Abstract

749,969. Transformers and inductors. VACUUMSCHMELZE AKT.-GES. July 9, 1954 [Oct. 31, 1953], No. 20205/54. Class 38 (2). In order to exert an influence on the magnetic properties of the material of a laminated magnetic core, the laminations are subjected to a mechanical stress by introducing a material such as ethoxylene resin between the laminations when the resin is in a liquid state. The resin adheres to the laminations and when contraction of the resin takes place upon cooling the laminations will be placed under the desired mechanical stress.
