Abstract

747,140. Bottle washing machines. GRAHAM-ENOCK MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and ENOCK, A. G. March 10, 1954, No. 6942/54. Class 138(1) [Also in Groups XVII and XXX] Relates to means for feeding dirty milk bottles into the washing unit S described in Specification 689,685. Bottles are fed to the unit by a series of conveyers t which tip them into receiving members 26. These are then rotated through 90 degrees in a clockwise direction so that the bottles are tipped on to an inclined platform 134 from which they slide into a line of baskets 116 carrying them through the washing unit. Meanwhile a guard 27 has been raised in front of the conveyers t to prevent the advance of succeeding bottles. The guard is then lowered and the receiving members returned to their original position.
