[Also in Group XXVIII] In a method of forming a forked tube fitting according to the parent Specification a forging provided with a preformed main passage 4, Fig. 2, has bores 3 drilled in the bifurcations 1 to intersect the main passage 4. The bifurcations 1 are finally bent at the ends 5, Fig. 3, so that they terminate in a common plane.
