Abstract
746,052. Making pipe fittings. BABCOCK & WILCOX, Ltd. June 10, 1953 [June 10, 1952], No. 15968/53. Addition to 733,713. Class 83 (2). [Also in Group XXVIII] In a method of forming a forked tube fitting according to the parent Specification a forging provided with a preformed main passage 4, Fig. 2, has bores 3 drilled in the bifurcations 1 to intersect the main passage 4. The bifurcations 1 are finally bent at the ends 5, Fig. 3, so that they terminate in a common plane.
