745,782. Illuminated signs. WEAR, J. R. May 5, 1954 [Feb. 9, 1954], No. 3830/54. Class 3(2) A display sign comprises a frame built up of channel-shaped rails 1, 2 which are connected by webs 6 having C-shaped spring clips 7 adapted to receive a fluorescent tube 8; the rectangular or square panels 5 being slid into the frame from either end. The panels are made of translucent or transparent material; the letters being opaque or in translucent colour on a transparent background or transparent with a translucent background. The panels are held in position by L-shaped pins 9 inserted through slots in the upper rail. The members 1, 2, 6 and 7 are preferably made of transparent or translucent synthetic resin plastic material and are glued together.
