Abstract

745,599. Display apparatus. KELLY, W. Nov. 15, 1954 [Nov. 17. 1953], No. 31806/53. Classes 3(1) and 3(2) [Also in Group XI] An illuminated wall plaque, Fig. 2, or a table lamp Fig. 3, comprises a translucent, synthetic plastic container A, a plurality of glass sheets B having objects, constituting a three dimensional scenic display, secured thereto and a transparent viewing panel C. In the embodiment of Fig. 2 the transparent sheets are positioned by a circlip a<SP>2</SP> and may be indented or currugated to simulate water; the panel C being convex or flat, as desired. The container may be in the form of a wall lamp and incorporate a tubular lamp a<SP>8</SP> (see Figs. 5, 6 and 7, not shown). Again a rectangular container may be built into a wall or floor and provided with electric or other lights arranged behind a translucent back.
