[Also in Group XXII] In a dynamic testing machine two members are connected by at least one spring link having clamping heads of greater thickness than an intermediate portion, the said spring link being characterized in that the surfaces of the heads coming into contact with the members to be connected are provided with serrations adapted to engage with similar serrations on the members, and in that the resilience of the intermediate portion admits of relative displacement of the two heads. In a first embodiment, Fig. 1, two parts 2, 4 are connected by a link 1. In a second embodiment, Fig. 3, the parts 2, 4 are connected by two links 1A, 1M, shown in Figs. 4a, 4b respectively, the link 1M passing through an opening 6 in the link 1A. Two other arrangements of this second embodiment are also described. Specification 721,603 is referred to.
