[Also in Group XXXVII] A cover for an electric tumbler switch having an externally-threaded sleeve a has an aperture b<SP>1</SP> adapted to fit over the sleeve and is secured by an internally-threaded ring c, the coacting faces of the cover and ring having inter-engaging projections and depressions b<SP>2</SP>, c<SP>3</SP> which prevent accidental unscrewing of the ring. The cover is slightly resilient to permit the ring to be screwed on. Removal of the ring may be effected by manually depressing the cover around the aperture so as to disengage the projections, or by using abnormal force to turn the ring. The projections are preferably shaped as ratchet teeth.
