743,380. Sheet-delivery apparatus. SCHNELLPRESSENFABRIK FRANKENTHAL ALBERT & CO., AKT.-GES. Oct. 12, 1953 [Oct. 13, 1952], No. 27933/53. Class 100 (1). A device for the removal of sheets from a rotary cylinder 6 wherein a sheet is transferred from the cylinder 6 by a driven transfer drum 1 which is provided with resilient grippers 5 and which, during the transfer, revolves with the cylinder 6 and bears thereon and wherein the sheet is deposited on to a receiver 7 during the outward part of a to and fro movement of the drum 1 with respect to the cylinder is characterized in that unrolling or deposition of the sheet upon the receiver is effected by the outward pivotal displacement of members 8 from the peripheral surface of the drum 1 which temporarily enlarges the effective periphery of the drum. The displacement of the members 8 is controlled by engagement of a lever 10, mounted on a spindle 9 to which are attached the members 8, with a stationary cam 11. The members 8 may consist of tongues or rods curved to the same extent of the drum 1 and held in grooves in the spindle 9 by spring clips 12.
