739,102. Textile drawing &c. rollers. CASABLANCAS HIGH DRAFT CO., Ltd. April 1, 1954 [May 21., 1953], No. 14341/53. Class 120(2). [Also in Group VIII] A top roller for a spinning or preparatory machine including an arbor and a detachable boss comprises two spring members, each having an outer arm 6 and an inner arm 7, the arms 6 being shaped to press outwardly against the wall of a recess 5 in the boss 3 while the inner arms 7 grip the arbor 1. In their inoperative positions, the inner arms are spaced by mutual abutment of'their bent extremities 7a. Preferably the arbor 1 is grooved to receive the spring members and the mouth of the recess 5 may be closed by an annular sealing washer or by a cap and end pivot. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 702,095.
