Seamless tubes 1 having external longitudinal ribs 2 and internal grooves 3 are produced by cold pilgrim-step rolling. The rolls are grooved to produce the ribs 2, and the tubes 1 are mounted on a circular mandrel and are of such a thickness that the internal grooves 3 are formed with the ribs 2.
