Abstract

735,928. Removing vulcanized shoes &c. from formers. FABRICA ARGENTINA DE ALPARGATAS SOC. ANON. INDUSTRIAL Y COMMERCIAL. July 1, 1953, No. 18254/53. Class 87 (2). [Also in Group VII] In an automatic machine for removing shoes shaped on lasts, the lasts are fixed to bars 11 by members 30, the bars being held rigidly in carriers 14 on chains 12 which rotate over sprockets 15, 16, 17 mounted on shafts 18, 19, 20 and driven by motor 6. The lasts are guided by interior lateral guides 9 and 10 past an unshoeing mechanism 43 where the shoes are partly removed by a lever 45, and completely removed by claw 56 of lever 46, both levers being mounted on bifurcated lever 44 on transverse support 8, after. which the shoes fall on to conveyer belt 64 and are removed to collecting chamber 65 placed under a hatch door 70 with pneumatic means 71 of operation. Shoes still hanging from the lasts despite previous operations, are released by the action of hinged tray 90 deflected by bar 11 against the action of spring 91. The empty lasts 35 are then removed by means of arms 85 and 86 of hammer 83, raised by abutment of bars 11 against lever 84. The detached lasts fall via ramp 72 on to conveyer belt 75 where they are taken to a collecting chamber. The bars 11 on reaching the point 61 where lug 59 of the guides 9 and 10 is interrupted to the point 61<1>, are released and fall into chamber 79 ready for reuse. The hatch doors of the various chambers are controlled by distributing valves interposed between the feed duct of the pneumatic means and the respective operating means each value being operatively linked with a solenoid.
