A simplified form of the barrel vault roof skeleton of the parent Specification comprises sections having longitudinal 10, transverse 11, and diagonal 12, members, the aligned transverse and longitudinal members of adjacent sections being rigidly connected together, preferably by welding. The connections may be made with bolted or welded plates 15 and the members at the edges of the sections may also be bolted or clamped together or united by a continuous weld. The sections are generally rectangular in plan and are preferably of tubular metal which may be in short lengths with welded cross-connections or longer pieces may be bolted or strapped or clamped together. The connections may be reinforced by bolted or welded plates 13.
