Abstract

734,259. Draughting-machines. LEMCKE, V. B. Dec. 24,1953,No. 35920/53. Class 97 (3). As shown in side section, a straight edge comprising a top plate 7 and transparent side edge members 8, is mounted on a drawing board 10 so that it projects over the edges 9 thereof and is provided with rollers 21, for contact with the sides of the drawing board, carried on "T"- headed screws 13 which are slidably adjustable in "T" -sectioned slots 11 in the projecting ends of the straight edge, the usual pulley and wire connections being provided at the back of the board to move the straight edge parallel to itself. The head of the " T " screw rests on projections 12 in the slot 11 and carries a journal sleeve 16 on which the roller 21 is mounted. The wire 35 is held between plates 23 and the whole assembly is clamped by a nut 28.
