Abstract

730,400. Flyers. FAIRBAIRN LAWSON COMBE BARBOUR, Ltd. Nov. 10, 1953 [Sept. 18, 1952], No. 23427/52. Class 120(2). A flyer has a circular top portion and two diametrically opposite side portions or wings, the latter being composed of material of such shape as to form a part of a tube or cylinder having both inner and outer walls parallel the side portions or wings being separated at their lower ends and joined at their upper ends to the circular top. As shown the flyer consists of a domed member 3 having fixed thereto an upper ring 2 from which extend wings 1. The wings are of curved form and are roughly of scutcheon form when viewed from the side. Guide eyes 7 are provided at the lower ends of the legs and guide eyes 9 at the top and 90 degrees out of phase with the lower guides.
