Abstract
730,104. Induction heating. WILD-BARFIELD ELECTRIC FURNACES, Ltd. Nov. 5, 1953 [Nov. 7, 1952], No. 28160/52. Class 39 (3). An inductor consists of one or more units A, each unit comprising two conductors 1, 2 of copper tubing each wound in a flat spiral with their inner ends joined, the directions of winding of the spirals from the centre to the outside being opposite one another. The free ends of the spirals have water connections 10, and insulation 5-8 is provided. The units may be connected by connections 11, electrically in series or parallel, or series/parallel, and the water supply connections may be similarly arranged.
