Abstract

728,207. Suction cleaners. MINERLEY, F. K. Nov. 3, 1953, No. 30402/53. Class 8 (1). A suction operated cleaner comprises a tubular housing 10 connectable to a suction hose 13 and having a slot 14 adapted to receive an arched slat S of a venetian blind between two brushes 15, 16 which are rotated through gears 23, 24 by a bladed wheel 27 driven by the air flow. The surfaces of the brushes 15, 16 are longitudinally concave and convex respectively.
