727,555. Vehicle bodies. FORD MOTOR CO., Ltd. Oct. 20, 1953 [Oct. 24, 1952], No. 28909/53. Class 108 (1). - A cover 16 for the hood-receiving well of a convertible is provided on its outboard edge with concealed fasteners 33 having spring fingers 37, 38 to engage the beaded edge 24 of the rear deck panel 13 whilst the inboard edge is secured to the rear seat by conventional press-stud fasteners 19. The arrangement of the fastening means is such that power operation of the hood will automatically release the outboard fastenings and allow the cover to fall in the hoodreceiving well.
