Abstract

A mineral hydraulic binder contains a water-soluble mixture comprising calcium chloride, a copper salt, potassium chlorate and sufficient of a weak acid to give the admixture an acid pH. The water-soluble mixture may also contain a tylose or a monomethyl cellulose, magnesium sulphate or kainite, brownstone and/or a double silicate of potassium and aluminium containing vanadium. Foam-forming or inflating agents, e.g. aluminium powder, may also be added and preferably added to the binder before the water-soluble mixture. Aggregate choice is stated to be nearly unlimited, and earthy excavation mass is specified. Binders specified are hydraulic lime, cement, blast furnace slag cement, trass and other types of puzzuolana.
